Benfield Remodel

West Hills - Portland, OR

This "semi-modern" four-car ranch home offered several attractive features to the new owner. To move the project forward with sensitivity to the tight schedule, subs were scheduled concurrently in a sequential and logical process. The project's materials and systems created unusual challenges that were successfully addressed to complete the home on schedule, including mock-ups of critical details. Evergreen Heights - Vancouver, WA

Renewing a 1963 architect designed home for a growing family resulted in a tasteful update in an established community. A new 750 sq. ft. master suite creates private retreat space. Drasler Place

Heather Lane

Portland Heights (Southwest Hills) - Portland, OR

This 1967 contemporary was remodeled from top to bottom-including the addition of a new 1,450 sq. ft. third floor. Original and new timber beams and fir decking required a temporary "canopy" during construction. Retaining the unique character and 1960s charm created a number of challenges that were addressed through fine details ultimately adding significantly to the success of the completed project. Greenbriar Terrace

Kings Heights (West Hills) - Portland, OR

A beautiful West Hills vista overlooking Montgomery Park with views that stretch to Mt. Hood and Mt. St. Helens provide a gorgeous setting. This late 1950's home was transformed through a thoughtful remodel that respected and reworked the strong "bones" of the house. An entry rotunda provides a new focal point at the heart of the home and created a more appealing and inviting streetscape. Women's Shelter

Location - Portland, OR

The YWCA Women's Shelter, staffed 24 hours a day, provides safe and secure emergency shelter for women and their children who are fleeing domestic violence. The shelter's kitchen, original to the 1958 construction, made cooperative work challenging. Domain Nouveau worked with the YWCA to create a bright, beautiful kitchen that reflects the shelter's goal of fostering hope, self-reliance and life skills for the women.
