This 1967 contemporary was remodeled from top to bottom-including the addition of a new 1,450 sq. ft. third floor. Original and new timber beams and fir decking required a temporary "canopy" during construction. Read more about the "canopy" process. Retaining the unique character and 1960s charm created a number of challenges that were addressed through fine details ultimately adding significantly to the success of the completed project. The home features natural materials throughout, resulting in a visual aesthetic appropriate to the careful details and fabulous West Hills setting.
